greenteaHAWAII = energy for well-being

14 years ago we had a mission to make an impact on human health. Hawaii is known for it's sugary island-flavored beverages from juices to shave ice. Our goal was to make a healthy, limited-ingredient, low calorie, low-sugar, beverage full of flavor!

Why is it Functional?

Functional products are foods or supplements that provide health benefits beyond basic nutrition, supporting specific body functions like energy, focus, or immunity.

greenteaHAWAII achieves all three of these using all-natural ingredients long-studied for their overall wellness benefits. Our combination of green tea extract, L-Theanine, and Polynesian noni fruit extract creates a beverage unlike the others.

Nothing you don't need.

Have you read the ingredients on canned or other packet energy beverages? You might not like what you see. In fact, there's a plethora of ingredients that are not just unnecessary but could be compromising your health and well being.

greenteaHAWAII contains limited all-natural ingredients to keep you going without weighing your down.

Convenient for on-the-go

Each packet contains functional powder meant to be poured into your cup, add water (8 - 16 oz), stir or shake to mix. The more water you use the less sweet our island flavors taste. Some prefer less-sweet, and that's easy to accomplish with more hydration factor.

Frequently Asked Questions

greenteaHAWAII is Nootropic. What does that mean?

A nootropic is a substance, often a supplement or drug, that is believed to enhance cognitive function, including aspects like memory, focus, creativity, and motivation, without significant side effects or impairing overall brain health. They are sometimes referred to as "smart drugs" or "cognitive enhancers."

greenteaHAWAII has an additional therapeutic amount of L-theanine, which is a non-protein based amino acid found in green tea.

greenteaHAWAII is a functional beverage, more like a supplement, and not a drug.

greenteaHAWAII is Thermogenic? What does that mean?

Thermogenesis is the process by which your body produces heat and burns calories to maintain its core temperature. It's a natural metabolic process that can help with weight management.

Green tea contains compounds called catechins, particularly one called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which can promote thermogenesis. When you consume green tea, these compounds may increase calorie expenditure and fat oxidation, potentially aiding in weight loss or weight management. So, green tea is often associated with boosting thermogenesis and supporting weight-related goals.

Does greenteaHAW you offer a subscription program?

Yes. The Loyaltea program is a monthly subscription program. Subscribers sign-up for a minimum of 3-months and enjoy $20 OFF per month. Learn more here. [https://www.greenteahawaii.com/products/loyal-tea-full-box]

What process is used when creating greenteaHAWAII's all-natural ingredients

The EGCG, L-theanine, and green tea extract are processed by a water extraction technique. The seed, fruit, and leaf of the Polynesian noni is sundried and pulverized into powder. Our flavors are derived from real fruit and foods and extracted without the use of hexane or harmful solvents.

How does greenteaHAWAII achieve its island flavors?

For our natural fruit flavors, we use flavor ingredients derived from the real fruits and foods. Our flavors are coconut lime, Kona mocha, original, passion orange guava, pineapple strawberry, pomegranate mango, raspberry lemonade, ruby red grapefruit.

Why does greenteaHAWAII contain citric acid? Is it derived from black mold?

We understand the growing concern about citric acid and where it comes from. Many commercial citric acids are made through fermentation using Aspergillus niger — a type of black mold. While this process has been widely used and deemed safe, we know it’s not everyone's preference.

At greenteaHAWAII, we do things differently.

We use cassava-derived citric acid, a plant-based alternative that helps provide the natural tartness and shelf stability our drinks are known for — without the use of mold-based fermentation. Cassava is a tropical root vegetable, and our choice to use citric acid sourced from cassava reflects our ongoing commitment to clean, thoughtful formulation.

We believe in transparency and using ingredients that you can feel good about. If you ever have questions about what’s inside, just ask — we’re proud of what we put in every stick.
